The Antigonish Music Festival is Nova Scotia’s newest live music experience, bringing top talent and unforgettable performances to the heart of Antigonish. Launching in its first year, the festival is built on a passion for great music, community, and creating something special from the ground up.

Is the festival all ages?

Yes! Antigonish Music Festival is an all-ages event.

Children 12 and under get in FREE.
 

Is parking available?

Yes.

Paid single-day parking is available off St. Andrews Street, across from Ron MacGillivray Chevrolet.


Can I bring a stroller, chair, or blanket?

Absolutely!


You're welcome to bring:

  • Strollers

  • Folding chairs

  • Camping chairs

  • Blankets


What happens if an artist cancels?

All scheduled performances, including headlining artists, are subject to change or cancellation without notice. No refunds will be issued due to artist cancellations or schedule changes.


Can I bring my dog?

No, Pets are not permitted on festival grounds.

Certified service animals are welcome.


What happens if it rains?

The Antigonish Music Festival is a rain or shine event.

In the event of severe weather, performances may be delayed, paused, or cancelled for the safety of guests, artists, and staff.

No refunds will be issued due to weather-related interruptions.


Can I bring outside food or drinks?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Exceptions include:

  • Food required for medical or dietary needs

  • Infant food and formula

Prohibited Items


For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following items are prohibited:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Fireworks, flammable items, fuels, or aerosols

  • Spray paint

  • Outside food or beverages (including alcohol)

  • Glass bottles or cans

  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or hoverboards

  • Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)

  • Animals (except certified service animals)

  • Large chains, chained wallets, or spiked jewelry

  • Laser pointers or focused light devices

  • Water guns, squirt guns, spray bottles, or misters

  • Musical instruments, noisemakers, whistles, or air horns

  • Confetti, streamers, or loose glitter (wearable glitter/cosmetics are permitted)

Festival management and security reserve the right to prohibit additional items at their discretion to ensure the safety of all attendees.
